COVID-19- We have carried out Covid-19 training and created necessary risk assessments.  Housekeepers are trained in Covid-19 cleaning practices.  If you feel ill whilst you are here, please notify us straight away and we can advise on the nearest medical resources and if necessary. In the event of your symptoms continuing it is advisable, if possible, to return home and self-isolate.

PLANNING AHEAD –Things to bring along.  I am happy for you to bring along your own pillows and duvets, however these are changed weekly and all cleaned to a very high standard.  Please advise beforehand if you are bringing any of your own bedding and then we can leave the beds ready for you to make up.  Please bring your groceries with you or organise a delivery from our local supermarkets which include Sainsburys, Asda, Iceland, Tesco and Ocado. Some local pubs have excellent take away menus or you can order takeaways from just eat or zoom, we are happy to advise…

DURING YOUR STAY – There will be extra cleaning products, hand sanitisers, hand towels for your use.  I am sorry but Farm participation will not be possible at the current time but you will still be able to see the farm animals in the fields.

DEPARTURE – Please leave on time at 10.00 am to give us sufficient time to prepare for the next guests. Please help us by stripping the beds and putting the sheets and towels into the laundry bags provided   Please load the Dishwasher with crockery, cutlery, glasses etc. and turn it on a high wash.

CHECK IN – Check in is now strictly 4pm this will then give us time to deep clean the barns to Covid-19 standard.

SOCIAL DISTANCING WALLINGTON FARM BARNS – Fortunately we have plenty of wide open spaces. We have some beautiful circular walks around the lanes, so  you will still be able to maintain your social distance and keep to your household groups without having to interact with others.  Initially we will be operating a social distance check-in and keys will be in the doors.  However, rest assured we will still be completely available to you during your stay to deal with any queries/concerns.  We are here to help so please contact us with any questions or suggestions on 07730413383 or email tmanning258@gmail.com.

Cancellations must be notified to and received by us in writing (preferably by email).

Once received we will confirm and process your cancellation request. 

When making a booking you pay a non-refundable deposit and the full balance 30 days before arrival date.

If you cancel later than thirty (30) days before the arrival date then we are unable to refund your booking, as we will have incurred costs and are unlikely to be able to re-let our accommodation in such a short period of time. We do offer alternative dates this means you can move your holiday dates if you prefer.
           
We will refund 50% of you booking in the 30 day period if the property gets rebooked.
           
For this reason, we strongly recommend you take out your own travel insurance for UK holidays which includes cancellation cover and Covid-19 cover. This will give you the peace of mind that you will get your money back if you need to cancel your holiday at almost the last minute. If you choose not to do so then you accept responsibility for any loss that you may incur due to your cancellation.

We reserve the right to cancel your booking with none deposit refund if the balance has not been paid with in the 30 days of the arrival date..

  • The Owners do not accept responsibility for breakdown in public or local supplies, including water or electricity, nor any claims against inconvenience caused by such incidences, or by building works that may be deemed as necessary.
  • In the case of any breakdown Guests are asked to notify the Owners immediately. We will try our best, in conjunction with the service company concerned, to correct the fault as soon as possible.
  • In the event of a national or local disease epidemic, whether human or animal, the Owners reserve the right to cancel any booking at any time.
  • The Owners retain the right to refuse to hand over the Barns to a Guest, or repossess holiday accommodation if it is reasonably believed that any damage is likely to be caused.

Owners can also repossess the barns if damage has already been caused.

Terms and conditions apply to Guests and all members of their party (including any day visitors, who must be pre-approved with Owners). It is the Guests’ responsibility to ensure that each member of their party is aware of and accepts the Terms and Conditions and the obligations contained therein.

The Owners reserve the right to cancel a booking without compensation or refund should Guests not comply with any of the Terms and Conditions outlined below.

All bookings must be made by people aged 18 years or over. Initially bookings may be provisional. No booking is confirmed until a 25% deposit has been received

The guest are responsible for the care of the property and is expected to take reasonable care of it. All equipment, utensils etc, must be left clean and the property must be keep clean and tidy at the end of your stay.

The guest is responsible for any breakage/damage’s, small breakage/damages maybe over looked but larger breakage/ damages must be paid for, please inform the owner of any breakage/ damage

Fake Tan is NOT allowed as marked bedding will be charged for.

Towels are provided free of charge and not allowed out of the property if you need towels for outdoor activities you must supply your own.
If towels are taken out of the property you will be charged.

Pets are not allowed

Noise levels must be kept to a low level.

The guest must not use the premises’ broadband facilities for any unlawful purposes.

Wallington Farm Barns has a no smoking policy inside all accommodation (including e-cigarettes). A cleaning fee of £200 will be charged if guest ignore this. We reserve the right to pass on any additional costs arising from lost bookings due to smoke contamination.
Smoking is prohibited in and around the farmyard and barns but is allowed outside on the court yard or patio area.

Deep fat fryers & chip pans are not permitted.
All Vehicles are parked at owners risk and no responsibility can be accepted for loss or damage to vehicles or their contents.

Supervision of all children is the responsibility of the parents/ guardians at all times. The owner can not be held responsible for your children, their behaviour or and accidents that occur during your stay.

If any guest is not entirely satisfied with the accommodation offered they must contact the owner immediately and attempt to resolve the problem.
Arrival time is 4.00 pm on the day and departure time is 10 .00 am  

When the guest submits a booking via the on line reservation system, the guest will then receive an automatically generated booking summery by email to the email address provided in the booking form. This does not form a contract between the owner and guest. A contract will only arise when the booking is confirmed in writing via a letter of confirmation sent by post or email.

Bookings made through our on line booking system is provisional until confirmed by Wallington Farm Barns. 
The guest is responsible for their own Travel insurance.
The owners reserve the right to terminate the booking without refund if- the behaviour of the guest is considered unacceptable, or – the number of occupants exceeds that stated on the booking, or exceeds the number a barn sleeps.

The owners regret that they cannot be held responsible for any accidents that occurs whilst on the premises.
The owners reserve the right to seek compensation for any damage discovered after guests have departed.

The owner reserves the right to ask for a cash deposit of £100 on arrival which is refundable if nothing is damaged on departure.

  • The Owners cannot accept responsibility or liability for loss or damage to Guests' property, or for personal injury or horse injury, or damage to bicycles, cars, work vehicle or horseboxes/trailers parked at Guests' risk.
  • The Owners reserve the right to have access to accommodation at all reasonable times without permission. Prior notice will be given to guests whenever possible.
  • The Owners endeavour to maintain high standards of comfort and cleanliness at all times. The Guest must therefore undertake to keep all furniture, fittings and effects in the same good condition as found. If extra cleaning is required after departure it will be charged to the Guest.
  • All damage must be reported to the Owners as soon as possible. Accidental damage or breakage of a minor nature will not normally be charged for, but the Owners reserve the right to charge for any non-trivial damage, losses or additional cleaning required howsoever caused. Immediate payment from the Guest is required to cover any such costs.
  • Mobile phone reception is variable depending on the service provider.

Free Wi-fi is available but not 100% guaranteed

  • The contract is with the named lead person on the booking form. It is the responsibility of this lead person to ensure all members of the party are notified and conform to our Terms and Conditions.
  • Our preferred method of payment is by BACS bank transfer. We also accept credit/debit card payments or cheques payable to T A Manning.
  • The remaining balance payment will be due 4 weeks (30 days) before the holiday date. Please note your booking will be considered as cancelled if the full balance is not received as stated. For late bookings (within 4 weeks of holiday date) payment is required in full at the time of booking.
  • The price includes all heating, electricity, bed linen, bath and hand towels, tea towels, basic cleaning materials, some condiments, washing up liquid and dishwasher tablets .
  • When making a booking we ask a 25% deposit . We allow 3 working days for your deposit to reach us. As soon as we receive your deposit  this then confirms your booking.
  • Cancellations must be notified to and received by us in writing (preferably by email). Once received we will confirm and process your cancellation request.
  • We offer Flexible Cancellation which removes the stress and worry from booking your holiday. You can cancel your Booking and obtain a full refund of the accommodation costs up to fourteen (14) days before the arrival date. For example, if your arrival date is a Friday, you can cancel as late as 11.59pm the Friday two weeks prior to this. However, we ask that you give us as much notice as possible about your cancellation.
  • If you cancel later than fourteen (14) days before the arrival date then we are unable to refund your Booking, as we will have incurred costs and are unlikely to be able to re-let our accommodation in such a short period of time.

    In addition to the above cancellation terms, if either the lead person on the booking or Wallington Farm Barns is placed under additional covid-19 related restrictions, or a member of the party receives official notice to self-isolate, a full refund will be given for cancellations up to 2 days before arrival. (NB Official evidence will be required).

We ask for the remaining balance 4 weeks before the first day of your holiday.If bookings are made within 4 weeks of arrival full payment is required within 24 hours to confirm booking.There is none refundable if you cancel during the 4 week period but we will try and find you an alternative week.
We reserve the right to cancel your booking with none deposit refund if the balance has not been paid in the 14 days of the balance due date.

Refund Protection

Refund protection is available at a cost of £21.00. We recommend you include this when booking in order to get a full refund on of the purchase price should you or anyone in the party be unable to attend.

  • Injury or illness happening to you, or a member of your immediate family
  • Adverse weather including snow, fog or storm where the Policy or Government have issued travel warnings.
  • The mechanical breakdown, accident, fire, or theft en-route of  a private vehicle taking you to the booked venue.

Booking protection is available during the booking process.
